I sent a package to this warehouse today. The courier company went there to deliver packages but they said the premises were closed. Can someone tell me has restricted access to the delivery area?

This facility doesn't deal directly with customers. It does handle a lot of packages but the packages are loaded and unloaded on trucks that ship to other amazon warehouses.

MDW2 Amazon Cross Dock Facility is not close. It services other Amazon warehouse. Now there is MDW4 that a Amazon fulfillment Center that services the customer. Both warehouse is across from each other. You may want to checkout Amazon MDW4 Fulfillment Center.
