Yes the police are Nazis. It depends on the county you reside in. They will stalk the address your vehicle is registered too. Hoping to find you, lock you up & impound your vehicle. They do the same if you don't have auto insurance. They have spotters in black trucks driving around following you. Don't you just love Illinois. The secretary of state is involved in this too.

It is not good for anyone to buy / sell a car to someone with suspended or revoked license. The police knows within days of the sale that your license is linked to the temporary plate and is included in their scanning software. There is a good chance they will find you. You may end up in jail and your car end up in the impound. Don't take the chance. Last week the police impounded a car we sold within one week since the buyer had more than 2 unpaid tickets.
