Daily Planet has wide doorways, even floors with no step ups or downs, all tables and chairs are moveable for sngles and small groups or large groups. Pickup orders at counter or will be delivered to tables or overstuffed chairs. Customers can keep to themselves or easley talk to each other (without ulterior motives). Reminiscent of coffeehouses of the 60's. No alcohol ... all ages welcome ... some patrons doing school work on their own computers, others talking together or reading a book. Live eclectic musical groups or prerecorded Jazz but no hard rock music. Local rotating artists display their paintings, prints, drawings etc.. Two mail/female rest rooms. Relaxed comfortable atmosphere .... no dress code. Not your typical "up scale" coffee house. Outside tables available, weather permitting. My favorite place ... what else can I say. Maybe I'll see you there sometime. OH ... the proprietors name is Mike. ENJOY !
