My husband and I purchased my engagement ring and diamond at Shane Co. 2 years ago. Now a family member has presented me with a new diamond and I would like to have it set in my ring at Shane to preserve the warranty on my ring. Is it possible?

I believe they would. maybe not the diamond that is not from Shane. but u should ask.

I'm sure they would at least take a look, but they will likely charge. And they'll decide if they could possibly do damage to the new diamond. They wouldn't resize an opan ring of mine because it's in an antique setting, but it wasn't an automatic "no." Their customer service is stellar.

Yup, you can do that but the center stone won't be covered under the warranty. Only the setting but it won't void the warranty on the ring itself if they do the work on it.

It might be if Shane Co does it themselves. But it would invalidate the warranty for sure if you had someone else do it.
