They have a 1.5 hr tour a few times a day, but you can do a self paced tour in about 2 hrs. I also recommend the holographic theater show.

Either way but call ahead if you want a tour with a survivor. I strongly urge you to plan a good chunk of the day. At least three to four hours minimum.
It's a good experience to go through the museum at your own pace. You can linger over things that history didn't really reveal, a personal experience of the survivors and victims.
