2nd & Charles - All questions

Address: 1306 W Davis St, Conroe, TX 77304, USA

Paul | Oct 26, 2018

Nah, more like a half priced books on steroids

We discovered this gem right when it opened. We love it and go there regularly. Yes, it is similar to Hastings, but more upscale. Although it doesn't have a coffee shop like Hastings did. The staff does a good job keeping it orderly... (I felt like Hastings often seemed like a mess.) Another difference is that Hastings had a lot more electronics. 2nd & Charles does have some, just not as much of a variety as Hastings did. There is a great section that has things like sliced agate keychains and rock scented soaps etc. Also, there are a couple areas to sit. Not a lot, but nice if you need to sit. If you like places like Hastings and Half Price Bookstore (with a B&N feel) you'll probably like 2nd & Charles.
