My check engine light is on and I I can't get to reset what can I do do that unhook the battery cables

Take it to a certified mechanic to have the problem fixed

If u take the cables off for a few minutes it will reset, ut it will come back on until u fix the problem that's setting it off. The only thing auto zone can do is hook it up to see what the problem is & it gives a code & auto zone will look up the code & tell u what needs to be fixed.
