Lowe's does carry the equivalent of 5/8 plywood. Lowe's codes all their plywood products with a stripe system. Four stripes means the thickness is 19/32 or 5/8. Four black stripes means 19/32" thick plywood sheathing. Four white stripes means 19/32" thick OSB. Four green stripes means 19/32" thick BC Sanded plywood. So next time you're in the store, look for 19/32" as that's what is equivalent to 5/8"
