I visited that bus a couple years ago. I think there was a coin box at the entrance. Also... I read an article once that said they weren't exactly sure if that was the correct bus. Restored to pristine condition.

Back in those times they used currency, not tokens so she used coins.

There is a change Box on the bus, like I remember when I was a child riding buses. Considering that predates my childhood by a couple years, I am most certain it was pocket change.
