How do bathroom breaks work? I was going through the SOP and they say you only get one break every ten minutes and at orientation I was told that you're only really allowed to go to the bathroom on scheduled breaks.

Simply not true. You can go to the bathroom whenever you need to. If it's a medical condition talk to your manager or HR about it. Otherwise tinkle away

There is no such thing. They probably said that to stop other people for going to the bathroom ever 10 minutes which they have the right too, no one needs to use the bathroom every ten minutes. When I was working there you use the bathroom when you need no one say anything

Just keep an empty bottle by your work station. Just kidding, you can go as needed, but you still have to keep your rate in mind. Congrats on your new job!

I think anywhere its illegal to not let anyone use the bathroom. But I'm sure it's always someone that abused that privlage. Prolly best to just let your lead or AM know so wherever your working does not get backed up and can be covered
