Growing up in Germany, other than the salad bar I was disappointed. The cost is up on the costly side as well. My goulash tasted burned and was extremely greasy. Hamburger soup was under seasoned but the tomato soup was wonderful. Home fries are under seasoned as well but consistent with traditional German home fries for texture etc. Small salad but it is packed with traditional options for a German place. Horse radish , applesauce and real blue cheese still whole!
Been going to Schnitz for 46 yrs..best salad bar in rhe country.. terrific fried chicken and german fries...open for lunch.. only closed Sunday .
You will be happy no matter what time you go. Great place !!!!!!!
It's absolutely amazing. When you go, be extra hungry because they fill anyone up!
Great German food. They are open for lunch. As a matter of fact we are headed there today for lunch. Never had a bad meal or bad service there.
