Not sure but the maximum limit but I returned Vitamins bottle after opening and using it and they accepted I returned also an italian seasoning bottle after opening and using it I think that they can track the returned item via the receipt or Sams club membership
I bet with a receipt they would be willing to negotiate as all other retail places
