Yes Bobbie, pretty much like Candace says. Prayer is a way of getting closer to God, it's called communion with God. You don't have to necessarily have to pray per say. Fold your hands, bow your head, close your eyes and pray. I don't pray that way. Are you a coffee/tea drinker? I prefer both. I usually make a cup of coffee and pull up a seat in the morning and speak to God the way I would a good friend. "Good morning God, beautiful day today isn't it. Just wanted to say hello and let you know how I've been....." Remember this Bobbie, "If you don't fast you won't last, if you don't read you'll be in need, and if you don't pray you won't stay". Yes, prayer service starts at 8:45 on Sunday before the first service which starts at 9a. Also prayer is done during all services (bible study, etc.)
