Kevin, yes there is. All of our steaks can be done without sauce, our potatoes plain and vegetables steamed. If the guest could let the server know ahead of time, the meal could be prepared in a different area.
Yes. My wife is gluten sensitive and we ate there. If your friend is extremely sensitive, ask your server to not bring bread to the table, then order a steak or something. People act like gluten free food was just invented. Steak is gluten free, so are potatoes and lettuce. Just specify no croutons, stick to an oil and vinegar dressing, etc. Most simple food is naturally gluten free. If you want to eat something breaded or fried, you're out of luck at most restaurants. Unless the place is actively trying to make you eat wheat (looking at you, IHOP) you can always find something gluten free.
