I was in walmart. At the burgerking. And wanted to pay with a gift card and they did not accecpt the burgerking gift card to pay for the food. Why?

Burger King rents the space from Wal-Mart & therefore a Wal-Mart gift card does not apply to Burger King...just Wal-Mart.
