They will follow proper first in first out (FIFO) which is an industry standard and not a ploy. That said, they should no sell expired product; but, if you must have the freshest, it is always best to go into the store and rummage the shelves. It is a great service they offer, whether you are sort on time or practicing social distancing due to Covid.
