I believe there was free on street parking. Also, just past the contemporary museum is the Pulitzer arts foundation (which has a parking lot), you might as well go there also. Next on the street is the Sheldon Hall which also has a parking lot. (Although, if there is an event they charge $10)

Hello Louise, There is both metered and unmetered parking immediately adjacent to the museum on Washington and Spring streets. There is also a parking garage on Washington near Grand that is close to the Fox Theatre. These all offer safe, short walks to CAM, day or night. Our one later evening time, until 8 pm, is on Friday, when there are often shows at the Fox and Powell Hall, which means lots of foot traffic throughout the Grand Center Arts District. Hope to see you at CAM soon. Sincerely, Eddie
