Probably because you didn't have insurance and you were operating a vehicle. If you were dited for not having insurance and were given a court date, then Probably so no insurance is 90 day suspension
I am no expert on the traffic laws, however, I believe you should just get a ticket or just a warning with guidance for receiving help when driving with expired tags & no insurance. These are often things linked to financial situations that create critical barriers for struggling people trying to get back on their feet, and if the barrier is indeed financially linked it seems like digging a bigger hole by issuing tickets & fines. I believe license suspensions should be in cases where someone was placed in danger i.e. DUIs, wreak less driving, etc. When will policies & laws start helping instead of hindering those already struggling?!? Just saying 🙆
