Service is slow for walk in. Several times received cold coffee. Sometimes they substitute French toast because they run out of reg coffee. Doughnuts are stale by afternoon.

I never had a problem. Hopefully, it was an isolated incident. Coffee is always fresh and service was good.

Hopefully, that statement is judged on multiple interactions. Not just one. In fact, myexperience is opposite yours. Mornings in the drivethru; from the time i place an order, Im gone in <5 minutes. Walk-ins mirror the drivethru including the walk to and from my vehicle... Doughnuts are always fresh when I visit regardless the time of day. Their coffee is DDs original every time, and always scolding, yet unmixed haha. But, < 5 minutes so i cant complain. Its possible, neither luck nor staff were on your side while visiting mate. Maybe next time!
