Most of the dishes are made with spice.
No, they typically dont. It's largely dependent on what you order, though. Paejun doesnt have sugar, but theres a lot or starch (it's typically made of yam or a root vegetable), and that is sugar when it breaks down in your stomach. Same with potatoes.
Some of us might be chefs or of Korean birth or background but most of us aren't. So this wouldn't be the forum to ask. This restaurant is great so I will say just go, sit down and enjoy. Ju at ask the waiter what's sweet and what's not when ordering. Or you can look at their menu online and Google the items that seem interesting to you if you really need know ingredients.
Korean food in general does not require for a lot sugar. Becareful what you order tho, there are some dishes that are meant to be sweet. Ask your waiter/waitress before you order. Another thing is most dishes come with white rice, you can also ask them to change it to brown rice ! Enjoy
I don't think so. I usually order a vegetarian meal and I don't taste anything sweet.
