Yes, absolutely kid friendly. No ramps for the ball to roll down, but all the lanes have bumpers (rails on the sides) that keep the ball out of the gutter.
No they do not have ramps and there are a very limited number of light weight balls. I still take my 4 & 5 year old but it's not at all easy. When they don't roll hard enough and a ball stops it seems to take an eternity for the staff to assist and if you try to fix it youself, they call you out for it. Try skating instead.

They have small balls for them you have to ask and they will give them to you. But you have to return them as you leave.. Awesome place to go with little ones
