Why are there prices So high the stuff is donated to them. Poor people cannot aford thete prices especially if ad ofof hurting them.they have children. Looks like they would try and help these families famifamilies inste

All of our donated goods are sold to fund our mission of creating opportunities for people in our community with job training and workforce development resources. 89 cents of every dollar spent in our stores supports our mission and sustainability. We also have other programs to help families in need. Our Good Neighbor Program provides Goodwill gift cards to individuals who may need financial assistance to purchase clothing and household items in our stores. Our Success Outfitters Program works with individuals who may need assistance obtaining professional clothing for interviews or starting a new job.

I agree, Goodwill is high on certain items. However, I have found deals at certain Goodwills. I try to pay attention to what Goodwills I go to as some are better than others as far as their selection goes. But mostly you are correct. Prices at Goodwill, overall, seem to be a little high.
