There is a ramp put in at the far end of the public parking at the big beach area. Stay in the cove areas to avoid motorboats, jet skis. Ditto to previous comments . Even if car camping, you'll probably need to drive to put ins.
Where we stayed you're able to.... there are a number of launch sites. We actually didn't stay inside of the state park itself, but at the recreation and camping. I would assume that the same would be true in the state park though. Hope you have a great time!
Paddy's Creek is a good place to set off from. drop you off basically on the recreational side of the Lake. good for fishing fun for kayaking can be a little hard from people's boats making so much wake at times but not the worst. Is carrying it down to the beach to set off can be difficult though make sure you have someone to help you or rollers they have a road that you can roll it down to and if you've got some help you can just go down the stairs
