The old owners ran a very nice restaurant, and had many dedicated customers. From what I've learned, they have since retired and you're right, it has since been renovated. Also, yes there is a new chef, Chef Patty; her le cordon bleu diploma is actually framed near the entrance which I think is actually pretty cool (you don't see that a lot haha). But I can tell you that I have been to the Bangkok Thai Restaurant many times since it has reopened last September, and every time I have been very impressed. Every menu item I've tried so far has been cooked well, not too spicy and not too sweet. Also, I'd say the prices are more than reasonable. I have dined here alone, with my girlfriend, with my family and had their take out and been pleased every time. It seems like the new ownership definitely value the "dining experience" and I've actually met the new owner, she is so kind and it seems like she is filling the shoes of the old owners very well. I recommend you try it out!
that is correct. the restaurant has changed the ownership. since the previous owner want to retire. the new chef are including Chef patty/owner. She graduate from Le cordon bleu. if there is something that we can assist you, please let us know. thank you and look forward to serve you
But there are still tea rose! New name, but the same! 😁
The new chef and owner is Chef Patty. She's a graduate from Le Cordon Bleu of Atlanta. She and her staff are very kind and hospitable. They really do all that they can to make you feel welcomed and enjoy your time there. The inside of the restaurant has been renovated and looks a lot nicer than before. The food also seems to be made with fresher ingredients and served with generous portions, and overall tastes better. I've been there before and I tried the Tom Yum soup and Pad Prik King. The curry dishes are also a favorite with other patrons too. I highly recommend giving the place and Chef Patty's dishes a try.
