Really depends on what you buy, store not stupid they have been known to have people return an item after using it for an event.so for that reason they have policies in place to protect them.
Return policy very sketchy no worn , no clearance, are considered final sale. Returns on certain items are 10 days. There policy is what turns me off from purchasing but I still do because you can always find something there.
No returns on most stuff during prom season. Assume your purchases are non-refundable.
