Yes I live downtown & take the 1 train, its a nice, easy ride up to Hamilton Heights Its just north Harlem, on Broadway in a beautiful safe area with a lot of hipsters in this up & coming neighbrhood. This shop is much bigger with a wider selection than the shops downtown including Babeland & Pleasure chest What I like most about Romantic Depot is that the sales team is not not trying to push you into buying the most expensive toys & the staff seems genuinely friendly, unassuming & helpful They allow you to check out & test all adult toys before buying which is awesome! Plusm their prices are much lower than the other sex stores in NYC. They also give you a free 20% off liferime loyalty card - more savings. Finally at checkout you get to spin the "wheel of Romance for a free toy, I won a free power bullet, awesome! Also, Romantic Depot will price match on Amazon & Adam & Eve & you can also return products if they do not work, unlike all other sex shops in New York. 5 Stars!
Yes its a really nice culturally diverse, clean, 100% safe area that has obviously gentrified over the years. It takes me only 5 minutes from the upper west side, I simply take the 1 train and its 1 city block walk north, very easy and fast. , I also recommend Picante Mexican restaurant which is on 139th and open late . Great Sangria's and even better tacos and Fajitas. Very fun to have some drinks before shopping at this fun store. Great for couples looking to spice it and friends just to look around and check out the stuff. They really have a huge selection of sex toys.. :) The largest in the city for sure and nice prices.
