It is NOT illegal to have a gun in a truck, read the laws. It is illegal to conceal carry in some states without a permit, but it is perfectly legal to have a gun in a commercial vehicle. That rumor was started by the mega carriers to discourage drivers from sneaking around and carrying one against company policy. As for whether this company allows it or not, I'm not sure but if it does and that driver has one then I applaud him. There are enough defenceless drivers getting killed out here.

No. Freymiller does not allow guns in their trucks and this is a company truck the you are speaking on. All O/O or leased purchased through their company is ran under Freymillers Authority and the rules still apply. I would run it by safety them know what yous saw. Well this driver is in oakley ks at the ta truck stop. He does have a loaded gun mounted to his driver seat. Truck 6422
