Just come to a meeting, fill out the application, pay your initiation/dues. No firearms or ammo needed for range badge training, it's all classroom training to get the range badge.
You can go to a meeting the first Wednesday of the month, fill out an application, and pay your dues... You'll receive your card the following month. If you stay and take the range class you'll get your range badge and have range privileges right away
