Yes and no. They still keep your membership information when the subscription expired. Pay to renew membership and you can use their services again. If you're shopping, just pay at the checkout line when they tell you or walk to customer service center to renew membership and you are ready to use Costco services.
You can get your own otherwise once theirs expires then you won't be able to purchase. Get the executive membership as it could be free if you spend $5500 a year. (2% back will be $110 which should cover your membership.)
