The pier is probably the best place to fish.
Go down to the village and fish from the pier. Lots of people fish on the beach as well.
I've seen people fish right on the beach but further south there's a pier that may be more well suited for fishing
Definitely not the beach you don't want to hook someone but probably the pier.
