Hi Ian! Attendees of Self Realization Fellowship are not particularly Taoist or Shinto. The SRF teachings are nonsectarian and show the underlying unity of the Bible taught by Christ and Bhagavad Gita taught by Krishna. I would recommend googling Taoist centers. Good luck!

I agree. Jen's answer sums up the universality of SRF teachings well. The emphasis is on the common, core principals found in various religious traditions.
