I live across town from there. Just use caution when walking any were after dark.
You want to stay away from the end of the park that's close to the apartment complexes because there's crime that goes on late at night in that area. Technically the park closes at 10 I believe, but I have ridden my bike there much later. Take a light, and be safe. Take appropriate precautions to protect your person. You should be okay. I also suffer from insomnia and every once in awhile a late night bike Ride is exactly what I need. I understand where you're coming from. Welcome to Denton.
