Usually with Amazon it takes anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks to get a start date. Right now they are opening new buildings and that also pushes back start dates. Plus if the buildings are over staffed that will make it take longer. You can alao call their hotline sometimes that helps move things a little faster.

They told me not to turn in notice or things like that until I get my start date because it can take a while. Took me close to 3 weeks I think.

It took 2 months for me but the original building I applies for wasn't hiring for a few more month. so I was able to change buildings to get there sooner.

If you get your foot into the door don't blow it.

It depends, I didn't start for a month and a week after my drug test.

I didnt start for 4 weeks after my drug test and everything came back good. That was in june i started july right before peak season. It takes a while.

All my stuff came back fine

It took 1 week after I completed my drug test and background check before I received my start date. Your background can take a while if you've lived in multiple states or countries. It depends though, they might have to place you in another hiring class.
