Can you sit in a cockpit?

No most aircraft are not available to sit in the cockpit

This last weekend They had a small plane display that you could sit in . The display was to show control an how the rudder trim and others controls work .

I think there was one but it was closed when we went 2 months ago...

There is a simulator there for the SR-71, but I'm not sure if there are cockpits that you can sit in.
