I can't speak to the transportation issue, but everyone I know who has taken part in the Discipleship program, both men and women, have benefited greatly from it. If that's the "program" the other respondent is talking about, I wonder exactly why it was deemed necessary to warn you away from it. The Discipleship program helps people get on their feet, enables them to help themselves and others, and best of all, builds spiritual discipline (hence the name, Discipleship) while helping them grow in their walk with Christ. The "program" is only open to those willing to make and keep a commitment and who have a credible profession of faith in Jesus. P.S. There is no such thing as luck. "Proverbs 16:33 (LEB): The lot will be cast into the lap, but all of its decisions are from Yahweh."
The shelter doesn't provide any type of transportation including bus cards, gas vouchers or rides. There are schools in the area. Generally you can stay up to 90 days but that would be between you and your chaplain. But what ever you do DO NOT join their program. Good luck
They wont provide any transportation but you can stay up to 90 days unless you join their 9 month program
