Can someone give me a price on seeing how far along my furbaby is and if she needs any other care? I can't figure out her due date and I don't want to be at work when she has them since she's so young (right under a year)? Thank you

Do you by chance know what day she was bred on or around the date that you think she was bred on? A canines gestational period is about 63 days. If it has been at least 45 days since she was bred, we can do an xray to see if the bones have calcified yet and it can tell us about how many she may be having. If it is under 45 days, it will be hard to tell when she will be due if we do not know the date in which she was bred on. An examination can be done and the DVM can palpate the dog's abdomen to see if anything can be felt and what size the fetuses may be. If she is already producing milk, it will be sooner as they start producing milk closer to the time that they will be going into labor. I would suggest having a wellness exam done on her just to be sure there is nothing to be concerned about. If you would like to set something up, give us a call at 405-896-2120.

I'm not sure if it's the same as an ultrasound but I recently took my furbaby for a checkup and they did a radiograph on her and the price was about $131
