That typically isn't an issue if returned when noticed. Maybe it was a rotten day for the associate.just like anywhere else you got the good and the bad.

I have no idea why you would have trouble , did you have the receipt for the items that you wanted to return?
I have returned any kind of stuff with no problems. I agree employee was having a turf day or was new in the position.

With food items you need a recipt if you do not have one you should be able to exchange for more food for the same amount.
