Do they ever answer the phone

Yes they answer the phone it might take a bit but they should answer.

I've called them several times and never had a problem

Call every department until someone answers. They can always transfer you to the actual department you need once you get a person on the phone.

I've never had a reason to call them. So I am not sure if they ever answer.
