Yes she can go with you. There is a waiver everyone must sign. So it would be woth your consent that she is allowed to go.
Keith Schuback, I would not recommend bringing a 8 year old, it may be worth waiting 2 years. Not only is there the scare factor, but an endurance test. Plan on standing in line for at least 3 hours (on rocks and tree roots) in the cold with only porta potties.(can you say yuck ... especially for a little girl😨) Best luck to you.
There is not really a limit although it is recommended 10 and up.
