My son is a student, and loves to bow hunt. We don’t know any land owners around there, any suggestions? Is the public property over hunted? Any help if he gets one

Pat, sorry for the very late reply, but Emily is wrong. There is public hunting land at Mozingo. It is pretty heavily pressured, but there are deer. There is a map on the Mozingo website of the land surrounding the lake that is available to hunt.

Then how come it says on Mozingo website there is hunting?

There is no hunting out at mozingo. You could ask some of the people farther out past mozing but im not sure
