Cause it normally takes longer than a half hour to shop.
I'm guessing they wanted the employees out at 6 on the dot,. This location is quirky, I live east of kansas City, at 5:20 the lines were all open, and I've not seen such a in and out without waiting on at least one person waiting for the person ahead of them to pay, afaik, kudos to Walmart
I'm thinking this was done to be sure that the store could be closed right at 6pm.. This would allow for ALL employees to be able to spend the Evening with their families.
Its their way of trying to close early i guess
Maybe so
They have to let you in if its before 6
