Find a union carpentry company looking for a apprentice they will give you a sponsorship letter and sign you up for school.
You have to actually go and apply at the school first. They will give you a contractor list, then start calling everyone on that list. Once you find an employer it's up the their discretion if they want to sponsor you. At that point you would call the school (after gaining sponsorship) and schedule you're test date.
