He is the founder of Henry's fish and bait store in 31st and canal ,they been around for decades, they are a landmark here and tbe Park is named after him to honor his memory and business. Its his memorial.God bless him and his family for the hard work in keeping the business going, im am so appreciative and so are many others as well .Its nothing like jumping in the car loaded with your gear and stopping by Henry's to get some last minute stuff early in the am with the early morning orange skyline over lake michigan riding along lake shore drive getting tl your location to set up thinking of your stategy on your first catch in the morning.
