Might be able to get in with a parent we were able to take our son to a show for 21 and older when he wasn't 21 but needed a parent with him to get into the show

17+ show means everybody must be 17+. It's not up to the venue, it's the law.

My 13 year old niece went with me. As long as you're with an adult I would assume 18 or older you're fine to get in.

For such shows, no one under 17 will be admitted no matter who they are with. I used to try to get into such shows often as a teenager, I never got in through the front door. In general, with any venue, your best shot to get into a show while underage is to be with a band. A band can always get you in with them.
