What is the area like at night? Safe for a mom and child going to an event? (We live quite a ways away so not familiar with the area.)

Not a Family oriented business area as much as a bustling Club/Bar/Restaurant area with limited parking

Yes. There are a lot of bars in the area, but I have never had a problem
