We moved to Columbiana in 1971. We ate there almost exclusively when we dined out. At that time it was owned by Burdell Heck. Many of the vegetables they served to customers were grown at their family farm. After many years there Burdell eventually sold the restaurant to the Yoder family. I think they still own it. Burdell has since passed away. We now live in deep south Texas and live in Columbiana in the summer and still eat there. We love everything on the menu but especially the fish and salmon patties. Restaurant is not as busy as it used to be because of competition from Das Dutch Haus but we still prefer Heck's. They have branched into also doing a catering business also. The restaurant has changed very little since we began patronizing it. You will not go wrong there.
