I believe for the kids menu, but for the most part the whole menu is authentic Mexican food besides their drink menu.
Most of the menu has chicken and beef dishes that are close in one way or another to American cuisine. For example, there's an enchilada dish where the meat and veggies are heaped over cheese enchiladas. It reminded me of pot roast, but with Mexican spices. There's another dish with bacon and pineapple that is possibly Hawaiian inspired, while still maintaining Mexican flavor with a little bit of spices. I'm slowly working my way through the menu at El Nuevo Vallarta from top to bottom, so I get a chance to try everything. If you like cheese, chicken, and rice, try the Arroz con pollo (chicken with rice).
Yes you can get chicken strips and maybe a little more but most of the menu is Mexican Dishes.
