If you have the ownership paperwork and go to them that it was yours that the item was stolen with a police report that the item was stolen then they might be able to do something but there not just gonna go off your word that the item was stolen and its your property just ike Ben Gates said
If you have a proper police report and paper trail with serial numbers proving your original ownership. This would not be an issue. Unfortunately, without any of that information you do not have any legs to stand on, as anyone could just walk in the store and say that was their’s originally.
