You could finish all the main exhibits in less than 2 hours
I could spend all day there, but I'm obsessed with dinosaurs.
Why are you asking?? If you ate with your child, take the time that it gets
My children are young and basically hit the three same chokepoints every time: the beginning room that has interactive displays (it changes every so often), the interactive water/erosion tables and the sand digging pits. Every other kid is there at those spots too!! They want to run through the rest of the museum. If you get there before the crowds (at opening, basically) i would totally recommend doing it backwards because you'll miss the masses a bit. With young kids it takes about 1.5 hours tops :)
3 hours for our family of 3. And we all played at the erosion/water table. Why let the kids have all the fun?
I would say it depends on how through you are, it makes us about 2 hours and there are two of us, no kids, but we read just about everything
Depending on the age of the guests (i.e. if they will want to stay and play on the Erosion Table and Quarry Dig, etc.) 1.5 to 2 hours.
