Usually when we have years that start off this slow we get just hammered in march and april

brian duffett | Oct 17, 2018

March and April are two of the highest precipitation months of the year. We are only 40% thru the season and expect our share of storms thru into May. Yes May. Understand that the Airport is at 4300' and the best skiing is 8000 to 11,000 feet. South facing hillsides get strong solar radiation in the winter melting snow. Gives a false impression when you arrive. I've skied 37 years here. Ten on Mountain patrol. Come and enjoy

What's The snow conditions in late January early February like???

greg smith | Oct 17, 2018

Yeah, the skiing is great! And yes, we get snow, normally lots of it. This year hasn't been normal though. We have not had the snow we usually would have. It's anybody's guess.

Jon Hagen | Oct 17, 2018

Usually it's good in March, when we have had a decent amount of snowfall. This year we haven't seen much snow.
